Gabriella Caputo is a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She got her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at CUNY Queens College. Gabriella has provided behavior analytic services at various settings throughout her career, including private and public schools, center-based, and home-based. Gabriella has conducted Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analysis in home, school, and center-based settings. She has experience conducting behavior consultation and staff training to classroom staff working with individuals with challenging behaviors. Gabriella has also provided parent-training services to parents of children with severe challenging behavior, utilizing the Positive Family Intervention program developed by V. Mark Durand and Meme Hieneman. She has assisted in the development and facilitation of social skills training groups for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder ranging, with ages ranging from 4-7 years old and 10- 14 years old. Currently, Gabriella provides case supervision for home-based programs, school based consultation services, and direct ABA therapy as a BCBA/LBA, serving individuals on the Autism Spectrum from ages 3- 21 years old. Gabriella creates evidence-based skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs based on assessments and collaboration with caregivers. Her interests include functional behavior assessment, behavior intervention plans, and social skills training.
