We provide in-home and office treatment, once or multiple times per week. Here’s a list of our ABA and behavioral therapy services in NYC: 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (Birth-10 years old) – Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is used to promote a child’s cognitive skills through positive reinforcement, motivation, repetition and visual aids. 1:1 Special Instruction (Birth-10 years old) – Special education services are provided in school, camp or day care settings to continually modify and support the individual needs of each child. Family Training/Embedded Coaching – The embedded coaching model is used to strengthen communication and positive interactions between caregivers and their children. Sibling/Peer Facilitation – Siblings and peers of all ages will be guided and encouraged to have productive and fulfilling relationships by increasing communication and play skills. Children will be encouraged to utilize reciprocal verbal exchanges and increase social awareness. Functional Behavior Assessment (Home or School) – The trends and connections of a child’s behavior to the events of his/her day are analyzed. This assessment looks at the relationship of the demonstrated behavior and the setting, activity, level of task difficulty, types of instruction and reinforcement. A report is compiled detailing the data collected and recommending a plan to address the appropriate methods to decrease the future likelihood of undesirable behavior and increase socially acceptable behavior. School Consultation & Daily Report Cards – The most effective strategy for improving behavior at school is to use a Daily Report Card (DRC). DRC is a behaviorally oriented monitoring system that tracks the student’s social and academic behavior throughout the day along several specific behavioral objectives. School staff complete the DRC.
